Boorreeddd

Sw has gone to shanghai this week, which means i can haf the whole week to myself, haha.. so right now, i can't believe i'm reading mediacorp tv programme guide online, just to fish out any entertainment worth watching.. went sitex on the day b4 sw fly off to try cameras, so far only canon and casio came out promising stuff.. haha, heng my sis going jb next fri, which means MORE GAMES~~!!! talk bout right timing..

I just tried a game demo - Need for Speed Most Wanted... it was simply breathtaking and exciting, being chased by numerous police cars, how u evade them, make objects fall to block their way, outrun them to hide in specific spots.. oohhh.. u got to try it to believe.. i played a Quake 4 demo too, and the single player gameplay looked suspiciously like Doom 3, except tat action were constantly around u with teammates accompanying to take down enemies.. i look forward to the multiplayer mode too, and this reminds mi of those fragging sessions wif Jack, Alvan and Zhiwei..

Anyway, please call me out for outings, whether sports or entertainment.. and call me along too if got work lobangs~~!!

Post-exams

Exams are officially over!! so weird, i'm feeling out of sorts these few days, because i will not be doing the same old daily routine of study, eat, study, eat, sleep, etc etc.. haha, need to turn back to my usual slacking ways again.. even during exam period, sw and i haf came up wif the to-do list, which mostly sums up the things we discuss and hope to do after exams.. so far, the only thing crossed off is watching heli-copter.. wait a minute, y would we wanna go watch aircraft? hahaha, actually it's harry potter & the goblet of fire!! so funny, when i first heard from Siqiang, that i keep saying it..

I dun read harry potter books, so i'm always confused bout who and wat the movie is depicting.. and the last movie is like damn long ago, that i barely remembered the details.. eh, if u ask mi, i think GOF is not bad lah, at least the story plot is clear to mi and the graphics is breathtaking.. but many people who read the book say that the movie cut away lotsa details.. i always been telling myself to go read the books, even from 1st book onwards, otherwise i will be like blur cock trying to figure out who is who..

In the mean time, back to gaming!!!

Level 24 & 25

Finally, ending of the battles.. also leading to end to end battles, where the whole army of enemy heroes combine forces to lay siege on our base, and when their creeps fall, the opportunity falls to us to retaliate... possessing powerful items become essential to survive.. making use of my avatar, i unleash my utimate skill which manages to kill few more heroes, thus buying us time to attack.. next off my list are Book-of-open-tech-com, which opens up reports of the enemies' weakness and prone to which skill and Open-text-of-mental-health, which cast depression to heroes and cause them to miss.. with all my 6 items full, we go for one last push to their base..

Eventually, we succeed in destroying all their barracks and towers.. and our creeps surround their throne and end it all off.. GODLIKE!!! end of war, start of party!! WOOT!!

Level 21

This is it.. the crucial time, the turning point of the battle.. if u get hold of real powerful items by this time, this will be one way road to victory.. the enemies of course are already invading our base bit by bit, whereas i'm defending like mad.. luckily my allied heroes help mi out and i manage to scrape through and purchase my next item -- Thermo Basher.. it's time to fight back... with the extra damage from its fire splash attack and stun, can you feel my "heat"?? Just a bit more to go...

Level 15

With the enemies getting a little more powerful, the tug of war has begun.. the crucial point is of cos the river stretching across the diagonal of the map -- attack until the tower, fall back when allied creeps are down, attack again when own tower takes down their creeps, and the cycle repeats.. there are a couple of external help along the river, in the form of temporary powers such as regeneration or speed.. this is also where enemies tend to ambush.. i am killed several times by such ambushes when i try to reach the Open Book of Regeneration when low on life.. it is depressing and despair sets in.. i wanted to go for more damaging items, but i always suffer their hero skills, so when i got enough gold, i switched to another item instead -- Black Kinematics Bar.. this item allows me to be invulnerable to spells, disrupting their momentum and thus forces them to change tactics.. hope i can survive for the rest of this cruel game..

Level 11

After a disastrous start, my confidence was greatly affected.. outnumbered, i stayed behind towers when the enemy heroes attacked and waited for an opportunity to hit back.. when our towers began to attack, i quickly sneaked up for ambush, and using my MOM to its maximum effect.. this tactic worked well, and soon i gathered enough money to buy the next item -- Treads of Mathematics.. the tactic is not complex, with the increased movement and attack speed, i was able to chase down enemy heroes, coupled with my MOM of cos.. soon, i was able to steal kills with the help of allied heroes.. finally, a little morale booster..

Signs of exam stress

Sw and I were walking up the stairs when we chanced upon a small puddle of water -- strangely with a small white feather floating on it -- at the second floor near the staircase..

Me : hmm, last night rain so heavy, heng i haven't wash clothes
Sw : wah, look, a bird drowned here leh!
Me : .....

Sw wanted to keep herself awake to study, and requested for coffee, so i began to make her one with her "high class" Grandeur coffee sachets.. As i was taking it out from the box, she noticed the expiry date printed boldly at the side of the box..

Sw : aiya, expired liao, 1st of november..
Me : where got? it says " 01 Nov 2006"
Sw : erm, i thought this year is 2006? not meh?
Me : .....

I really hope the exams can finish as soon as possible, so that i will not go crazy...

Meanwhile, the farming continues..

Level 4

My attack damage is low and i am already stressed about stealing kills from my allied creeps.. to add to my misery, my patience is strained due to harassment of enemy heroes and them combining forces to put me down.. it is demoralising, i have to rely on neutral creeps to farm.. when i had raised enough gold, i proceed to buy my 1st item on the list -- MOM (mechanics of materials).. haha, the item allows me to know how my weapon works and i can attack faster!! at least the 1st item is struck off the list, now back to the battlefield, trying to regain my confidence..

P.S. jay chow's new album is out.. who wanna watch DOOM?? makes mi wanna replay Doom 3 all over again.. :p

War

As usual, during this time of the year, times will get intensive whenever the exams are around the corner.. it's war time again, as compared to Neo protecting the humans, Aragon defending his countrymen, or Luke Skywalker saving his Jedi galaxy, it's up to me, the hero to "slay" the papers.. by the way, this hero and war reminds me of dota, no offence to all female readers who doesn't play the game.. :p

And so, after choosing my hero, i proceed to "farm", which in gaming terms to kill creeps for gold, or money.. haha.. just wait till i got enough to buy my 1st item !! (which means finish my 1st paper, if u still dun get it.. )
